Alcatraz sits in the middle of one of America’s premier waterways, San Francisco Bay. Our partner San Francisco Baykeeper impressed us with their 35 years of dedication tackling the greatest threats to the health of the Bay and its wildlife. They are a founding member of the Waterkeeper Alliance, the fastest growing movement of clean water advocates across the world. The Waterkeeper movement involves several chapters in Florida –we have been working with the Tampa Bay group and others since 2018.
